This is the first time that an Indian is walking away with four Oscars and also this is the first time that three Indians are receiving Oscars in the same year.
Meanwhile, This is my best day in my life. A.R. Rahman has created history by winning two Oscars and made India proud.
He also made us proud by speaking Tamil in Oscar. This is the first time in the history of Oscars, someone spoke in Tamil while delivering the acceptance speech ” Ella pughalum iraivanuke (All glory and fame is to God)” was how music maestro A R Rahman spoken at Oscars! It was a proud moment for all Tamil’s.
I am from his city Chennai. i was very proud of him and happy. Rahman won the awards for the Best Original Song for ‘Jai Ho… .’ This is truly amazing here.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but I hear that it deserved all the Oscars it received. “All glory and fame is to God” was a good thing to say at the Oscars too :O)
