The Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh wedding took place on morning amidst, family, friends, celebrities and politicians according to Marathi traditions. The couple starred together in their debut venture Tujhe Meri Kasam and is reported to have fallen in love during the shoots of this film.
It is rumoured that Riteish’s politically powerful dad Vilasrao Deshmukh, the ex CM of Maharashatra and the current Union Minister, was against the wedding initially but finally gave in. The celebrations started a few days ago with a grand function.
The engagement took place on February 2nd and the wedding on, February 3rd. Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh’s wedding took place with pomp and grandeur in Mumbai.
