Tirupathi Trip After three years

After three long years i and my friends went to tirupathi. Me and my friends muku, puva, shakti planned to go to tirupathi before three days. As we didn’t booked the ticket in advanced we though to book the 300 rs darshan. Usually for darshan it will take 4-5 hours but we ware lucky this time.

We had not booked the room and there was no room free, so we take the shelter in the free room. we went to 300 rs darshan around 2.30 and by the time come closer  around 4 am we reached the main area of darshan. This is the first time i saw the darshan happily without more crowd and i am able to stand almost 5-7 minus in front of perumal and see him.

Only disadvantage was the rain in chennai while we started to tirupathi

Rajinikanth historic flick Rana to Start in October

After the success full return of Super star Rajini from Malaysia.   All Rajini fans are eager to know when Rana would take off.

Rajinikanth say that Rana will commence in October and until then the Superstar will take rest at his Kelambakkam farm house. Rajini said the rana is close to him will do it any cost. It is said that he will hold discussions with director KS Ravi Kumar at this farm house. Rana is a historic flick and a major portion of it will be shot in foreign countries.

Only very close friends and dignitiaries will be allowed to meet Rajini as he needs complete rest for the next couple of months in order to get ready for Rana

cricket captains ipl5IPL 5 started off with the Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan reciting a poem on the spirit of cricket. Both Bollywood queens, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor managed to bring “Vanakkam Chennai” out of their lips with perfect diction.

Priyanka Chopra take defending champions Chennai Super Kings with her quirky questions and made Bollinger, Ashwin and Badrinath dance for the super hit Nakka Mukka.

Prabhu Deva and Salman Khan fired up the stage with their Mukkala.

Relief from Scheduled power cuts in Chennai

Here after there will not be a Scheduled power cuts of longer duration. Certainty in the coming months in Chennai. People had faced scheduled daily power cuts, one hour in Chennai and up to eight hours in the districts.

 

Tamil Nadu people were banking on a number of projects, which would generate 14,000 MW of power from thermal, nuclear and other power projects to add surplus power in 2012.

 

  • 2000 MW of power from the first phase of the Koodankulam nuclear power project
  • 4000 MW from renewable energy such as wind
  • 6000 MW from public sector projects.
  • Expansion plans for thermal stations in North Chennai (1200MW)
  • Mettur (600MW).

Latest news is that Vallur Unit-1 synchronised to provie a additional 500 MW to Chennai. This will have a temporary relief for Chennai power cuts.
